Rollkur: Training or Torture?

I really am no dressage expert,but I know what rollkur is. Hyperflexion as it is sometimes called, I think is cruel. I really do not see it as a training aid no matter what Anky has to say about it. I have heard of horse's tongues turning blue from this maneuver from lack of oxygen. The drooling caused by it is disgusting also. What do you think? Training or Torture?

    I vote torture. A lot of dressage aids are quite cruel, in reality, like the one that attaches the hock to the noseband so every time the horse takes a step, his head is yanked down into position and he learns to stay in this fixed position without any freedom. I am a big fan of natural horsemanship methods.
